The entire structure of the vessel is mild steel, designed to meet DNV’s D1A1 requirements in maximum draft design, for a service life of over 30 years.
The vessel’s propulsion is ensured by two lines of shafts, with two medium-speed diesel engines, 3,900 kW each, and two auxiliary electric motors of 300 kW each for low-speed operation, coupled to reversible gearboxes, which operate variable pitch propellers.
